As residents, we can live in Vero many different ways, choosing something that fits our lifestyle and pocketbook. Our residents represent the full spectrum of our country from the wealthiest, to the poorest. Our job on the City Council is to represent everyone.
It takes listening to different groups, understanding issues, and balancing the resources of the city with the needs of its residents. Not an easy job. Further, the issues on the island are very different than the issues of the mainland, but each area needs the attention of the City Council and the skills of the city staff, police, and public works to meet their concerns.
I feel strongly about this. Representing the citizens of Vero is a basic duty of each City Council member. I am ready to serve.
